The home was built in 1878. It features a large collection of original old photos depicting the area including but not limited to logging, dairyman, and the buildings of Ferndale. It is decorated in a Victorian style and features 11foot ceilings, large living room dining room, 2 bedrooms, breakfast nook, and a kitchen with large center island. The bathroom features a large claw foot tub.
